Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Line a baking tray with parchment.2. If using mustard or cream cheese, dab a small amount onto each gherkin.
3. Wrap each gherkin tightly in a rasher of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
4. Place on the tray seam‑side down and bake for 15–20 minutes until the bacon is crisp.
5. Cool slightly, then serve warm as a snack or party nibble.
Tip
These can also be cooked in an air fryer at 200°C for 10–12 minutes for an extra crisp result.Ingredients

• 8 rashers streaky bacon (smoked or unsmoked)
• Optional: 1 tsp wholegrain mustard or cream cheese
