Method

1. Preheat oven:
Heat oven to 220°C (200°C fan) / 425°F / Gas 7.
2. Cook the beef mince:
In a frying pan over medium heat, brown the mince with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook through and drain any excess fat.
3. Make the sauce:
Mix together the ketchup and mustard, then spread over the pizza base evenly.
4. Add the toppings:
o Sprinkle over the grated mozzarella.
o Scatter the cooked beef mince and red onion slices.
o Add the sliced Opies Mini Gherkins.
o Finish with a generous layer of grated cheddar.
5. Bake:
Bake the pizza for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling and the crust is crisp.
6. Serve:
Optional toppings: add shredded lettuce and sliced tomato just before serving for the full cheeseburger experience.

Ingredients

• 1 pizza base (store-bought or homemade)
• 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
• 1 tbsp American mustard
• 150g grated mozzarella cheese
• 150g beef mince
• ½ small red onion, finely sliced
• 6–8 Opies Mini Gherkins, thinly sliced
• 75g mature cheddar cheese, grated
• Salt and pepper
• Optional: shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, or sesame seeds for crust
