The production of the steel for the iSi capsules, the remaining N₂O in the capsule, transport or recycling can cause further carbon dioxide emissions. The aim of the Eco range is to offset the remaining CO₂ footprint of the product - emissions that are not related to the production of the capsule. This is achieved by investing in carbon offset projects recognised and monitored by the United Nations and audited and certified by TÜV Austria.
